So true! But I believe that no system can be in an optimum state all the time. What if we start thinking of the optimized living as a state where we can always bounce back from the non-optimized one?

Yes, I won't take an 'always on' approach to this anymore. Because too much of a good thing isn't good at all. But yes, bouncing back between the optimised and not-optimised states might be a better approach to try.
